The event took place on 28 November 2022 and was co-hosted by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Vietnam (MARD) and CGIAR.

The meeting was co-chaired by Phung Duc Tien, vice minister of Agriculture and Rural Development and Stephane Weise, Asia Managing Director at the Alliance of Bioversity International and CIAT to explore ways to strengthen collaboration between MARD, CGIAR and relevant stakeholders to apply and replicate research and innovation results towards promoting low-emission agriculture, climate change adaptation and mitigation.
