ILRI and ICAR partners conduct hands-on training on reducing methane emissions from livestock

Twenty-two researchers from the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) institutes, State Agricultural Universities (SAUs) and Bharatiya Agro Industries Foundation (BAIF) participated in a lecture series and hands-on training program focused on methane emissions in the livestock sector from 26-28 October. Today,10 December 2021, CGIAR, the global largest agriculture innovation network, convened a coordination meeting with the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Vietnam (MARD). The meeting was chaired by Vice Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Le Quoc Doanh and Jean Balie, regional director of One CGIAR in Southeast Asia and the Pacific to review the relationship between MARD and CGIAR and discuss ways to further improve collaboration for sustainable agricultural development in Vietnam.
