Vào ngày 29 tháng 3 năm 2022, bài báo ‘Phân tích khả năng kháng kháng sinh của vi khuẩn Salmonella trên thịt lợn từ các cửa hàng bán lẻ và giết mổ ở Việt Nam bằng phương pháp giải trình tự gen’ đã được xuất bản trên tạp chí quốc tế Frontiers in Veterinary Science. Nghiên cứu đã phân tích 69 mẫu gen vi khuẩn Salmonella (NTS) thu thập từ các chuỗi bán lẻ thịt lợn và cơ sở giết mổ để đánh giá mức độ kháng kháng sinh. Nghiên cứu cũng tìm hiểu liệu các cửa hàng bán lẻ như siêu thị, chợ truyền thống, cửa hàng tiện ích hoặc các cửa hàng cao cấp, đóng vai trò như thế nào trong việc đảm bảo vệ sinh an toàn thực phẩm (ATTP) trên thịt lợn. A two-day workshop, 20-21 April 2022, kicked off the One CGIAR initiative on Sustainable Animal Productivity for Livelihoods, Nutrition and Gender Inclusion (SAPLING) in Son La Province, Northwest Vietnam. The workshop brought together 80 key stakeholders from the province including local authorities, farmers, researchers, private sector actors and the SAPLING team to discuss ways to make the livestock sector in Northwest Vietnam more productive, resilient, equitable and sustainable.
